Toby has over ten years’ experience providing functional and holistic care to clients, supporting them to return to their optimal fitness and health. With a keen interest in rehabilitation, skill development and lower limb injuries, Toby works with clients with a range of injuries and goals and is the current physiotherapist to Australia’s U19s men’s basketball team.

With his own experience as a semi-professional Australian rules footballer in the VFL, and as a current player with the Queanbeyan Tigers, Toby knows the importance of injury prevention, management and getting back on to the field as quickly and safely as possible. He has worked with a range of Canberra sporting teams and competitions, and many of the ACT’s junior athletes with Touch Football ACT, Basketball ACT and Basketball Australia as part of state, national and international competitions. In 2021, Toby travelled to Latvia with the Emus squad for the U19s Basketball World Cup where Australia placed 10th.

Toby is passionate about continued professional development and developing his skills. He holds qualifications in sports physiotherapy (APA levels 1 and 2), level 1 Strength and Conditioning, Good living with Arthritis Denmark (GLA:D), Kinetic link training, neuromuscular dry needling, and a level 1-2 kinesio taping.

Prior to gaining his physiotherapy qualifications through the University of Canberra, Toby was a schoolteacher in Melbourne, teaching primary and secondary school physical education and health.
